What is a ministry? Ultimately, ministry is how we connect with one another.
We believe that what we do within each ministry should flow purposefully out of what we value and love. Whether you have a family of five or are single and love to ride your mountain bike, you'll find a place to help you experience God.
Hospitality, Sue Tavenier
Nothing enhances our feeling of "togetherness" more than a shared cup of coffee or a freshly baked treat. Our hospitality ministry recruits volunteers and organizes teams to provide light refreshments or a home cooked meal, as the case may be. If you like to share your gift of baking or cooking with your friends and neighbors, this is a wonderful way to get involved in parish life.
Pastoral Care, Heidi Graff
Pastoral care volunteers visit people who are home either sick, recuperating, home bound, or otherwise in need of a little extra care and attention. Our pastoral care team helps to organize parishioners to visit each other and provide valuable help in times of need such as rides to doctors' appointments or to church.
Weekly Prayer Group, Nina Pollack
Our prayer group meets once a week on Wednesdays at 10am in the Parlor. This group meets to remember and pray for those in our church and beyond who have asked for our prayers. The members of this group also organize a quarterly retreat for those interested in learning more about prayer.
